UZ CAVES IN, RECALLS DECISION TO SEND STUDENTS ON RECESS
The University of Zimbabwe has reconsidered and reversed its earlier decision to send students on recess.
After a night of protests yesterday the university of Zimbabwe information department then caved in and said: “Students are therefore advised to report for classes as usual. Those in University accommodation are therefore no longer expected to vacate the residences as earlier communicated.”
